This statue is a handmade wood carving of the Viking goddess Freya. Freya is the goddess of love, fertility and beauty. As the daughter of Njord and twin sister of Freyr, Freya is regarded as a powerful and independent goddess. She owns the beautiful necklace "Brísingamen" and often travels on her chariot drawn by cats. Freya is also associated with magic and wisdom, and her influence extends to the realm of the dead, where she selects half of the fallen in battle to reside in her realm, Fólkvangr. This wood carving is a work of art that is perfect as home decoration, for your home altar or to give as a gift. You can optionally paint it a different color, or you can stain it if you want to place it outside.

When packaging this item, we exclusively use 100% recycled plastic and recycled paper/cardboard from FSC certified forests. We reuse a large part of the material directly without the intervention of a recycling process.
Recycle the material by separating your waste:
1. Cardboard: separate or reuse your paper.
2. Plastic cushions, clothing bags and plastic tape: separate or reuse your plastic. If possible, pierce the cushions with a volume reduction needle.
3. Paper packaging for jewelry and small items: these have a plastic inner layer. Remove these, then separate your paper and plastic.
