Medieval brooch
In the Middle Ages, people wore brooches to fasten their cloaks and to pin up garments such as scarves. A brooch was also a luxury piece of jewelry that allowed people to show off their wealth and position in society. Medieval brooches were also often inlaid with stones. Our brooches are replicas of medieval finds and based on images in medieval manuscripts. Many medieval brooches were round, square or in the shape of a quatrefoil.
