Medieval braies and chausses

The braies were the underpants of the Middle Ages. Chausses were worn over the braies: these are separate trouser legs. With braies and chausses you make a truly authentic medieval costume for reenactment and living history. Two different colors of chausses were often worn over the braies, which was fashionable.

Medieval undergarments

Braies were often worn under the trousers and under the tunic men wore an undergarment. If you are making a medieval costume for LARP or reenactment, you can use the undergarments to contrast with the color of the tunic and chausses. Combine different colors for a stunning costume.
