Is this sword suitable for cutting tests?

With all swords it is stated in the product details whether the blade is sharp, semi-sharp or blunt (battle-ready). For cutting tests you always need a sharp blade, or you buy a semi-sharp copy, you can make the blade sharp by us professionally or yourself.

How quickly a sword dulls or how suitable it is for cutting tests depends on the steel quality and temper. For cutting tests we always advise to choose swords of about 50 HRC. Often the more expensive brands such as Kingston Arms, Cold Steel and Hanwei have a better steel quality such as 1065 and 1095 carbon steel and are more suitable for frequent cutting tests.
