This type of morion is one of the most frequently used models during the 16th century. Originals can be found at Musée de l`Armée in Paris, the Deutsches Historisches Museum in Berlin and the Germanisches Nationalmuseum in Nuremberg.
This reconstruction is lacquered black and made of 1,6 mm thick steel. It has an adjustable leather inlay and a chin strap. The motion is suitable for a head circumference up to 62 cm and it weighs approx. 1,75 kg.
