This rapier is a replica of the original that King Gustav Adolf used between 1625 and 1630. It is made in the typical 17th century Pappenheimer style. Its hilt is swept and decorated. The blade is made of hand-forged carbon steel. It has a total length of 114 cm with a blade of 99,06 cm and a grip of 20,32 cm. The rapier weighs approx. 1,35 kg and its point of balance is situated 0,77 cm below the grip.
