Product description

This 15th century gambeson is the perfect garment to wear under your full armor. As the Middle Ages drew to a close, more plate armor became available and the knight had less need for a heavily padded gambeson, leading to the creation of this type of gambeson. This gambeson features cords with medieval lace ends, so all parts of the plate armor can be attached to it. At the same time, it provides enough padding to make wearing the harness more comfortable and acts as an excellent shock absorber. With comfortable quilted filling between two layers of strong canvas cotton, this is a functional gambeson for reenactment and HEMA. A detailed size chart is available in the photos. Experience the comfort and functionality of this gambeson, designed for real knights.
