This rapier is a replica of the original that King Gustav Adolf used between 1625 and 1630. It is made in the typical 17th century Pappenheimer style. Its basket is wrought. The blade is made of hand-forged carbon steel. This rapier has a patina layer so it fully resembles an original antique item.

It has a total length of 114 cm with a blade of 99,06 cm and a grip of 20,32 cm. The rapier weighs approx. 1,35 kg and its point of balance is situated 0,77 cm below the grip.
