Replica of a Roman canteen. A Roman legionary sometimes travelled 40 km a day. The soldiers took several canteens for drinking en route. These canteens were not used for alcoholic beverages. Beer and wine were prohibited on campaigns.
The canteen measures 20 cm and has a volume of 1,5 litres.
