Many generations ago, a young, curious Drow enjoyed wandering through the many tunnels surrounding his home in the Underdark. One day, he wandered too far and ended up in the lair of a green dragon. The green dragon had never come across a Drow before, but he had heard of them. He couldn’t resist adding the young Drow to his collection of servants. From this point on, there are many different stories of how the Drow not only escaped, but even received the gift of draconian magic from the green dragon.
After returning home with his new powers, his family quickly rose in the social standing. Until, centuries later, a civil war amongst the Drows left the family nearly extinct. The few remaining members of the once powerful family fled the Underdark and hid themselves in a dark forest just outside the Underdark. No-one knows how many Drow from the Draconian bloodline still exist…they are still out there, though. And one of them is Eclavyl'uit Noquath.
Blouse
When Eclavyl'uit Noquath is just bustling about her hovel deep in the foggy forest, she only wears a rather basic outfit. A simple blouse creates a good base on which you can further build a character outfit. By adding layers and accessories, you can make different versions of a character in a very simple way.

Skirt
This base look of Eclavyl'uit Noquath also consists of a long, brown skirt. Drow looks are often linked to a dark colour palette, with colours like black, silver, dark purple, etc. However, we wanted her blood connection to the green dragon to be visible in the look. So we decided to use more earthy colours, as would make sense in a forest.

Shoes
Living as an outcast in a dark, dreary forest means luxury isn’t too high on the priority list. Shoes need to be sturdy and comfortable when you live in the forest, not particularly fancy. A simple pair of ankle boots will do just fine.

Wrap dress
Of course, Eclavyl'uit Noquath doesn’t just dwell in her secret hovel in the forest. When she ventures into the forest, she wears a wrap dress over her blouse and skirt. Like the skirt, this wrap dress is in a colour that matches the forest environment she lives in. It also has an elegant knot motif around the edges.

Necklace
After the green dragon shared his power with the young Drow and their rise to nobility started, the family designed a crest with a dragon’s head in it. They added this crest and other depictions of dragons all over their homes and jewelry. Eclavyl'uit Noquath wears a leather dragon necklace, one of the few heirlooms that survived the family's fall from grace.
Belt
Because the wrap dress basically functions as a coat, it’s important that it stays closed. This is why Eclavyl'uit Noquath wears a belt over the wrap dress.

After all, the only reason her family still exists is by staying hidden and being cautious. Bodypaint
To get the blue skin colour right, we used two products. For the base, we used a bodyspray paint and for the face and finishing touches, water based make up. The paint can also be used to paint the ears.
