Get the look: Barbarian fighter

Get the look: Barbarian fighter

In the vast wilderness of the kingdom of Lagoria, where the wind whistles through the dense forests and the mountains rise proudly from the earth, a girl was born among a people of warriors and hunters. Her name was Freya, and from her earliest childhood it was clear that she was different from the others. While her peers played with simple weapons and learned how to hunt, Freya felt an irresistible urge to demonstrate her strength, to perfect her skills with ax and bow.

Raised amid the rugged lifestyle of her people, Freya quickly came to be admired for her indomitable willpower and her determination to become the best warrior she could be. She trained tirelessly under the stars, her muscles shaped by hours of hard labor and battles against imaginary enemies.

But her path to glory was not without obstacles. As she prepared for her future as an accomplished warrior, her tribe was threatened by a growing darkness. An evil warlike tribe known as the Shadow Warriors loomed on the horizon. Driven by greed and a desire for power, they plundered neighboring villages and overthrew entire communities.

Determined to protect her people, Freya stood as a beacon of hope amid the threat of the Shadow Warriors. With her sword in hand, she courageously led her fellow warriors into battle against the darkness, her strength and determination a source of inspiration to all who followed her.

But although she achieved many victories, Freya was plagued by doubt and fear. She wondered if she would ever be strong enough to fully protect her people, to banish the threat of the Shadow Warriors forever. Despite her inner struggle, she continued with determination, her belief in her ability to triumph over evil unwavering.

Freya is a female human barbarian fighter.

Boots

A true barbarian wears boots. In this composition, wears Freya leather boots with a rubber sole for extra grip and ease of use at festivals.

Skirt

In this composition we opted for a simple skirt. We cut this open on two sides and turned it into a battle skirt. The splits give Freya more freedom of movement in her fights.

Belts

Freya wears two different belts. We did this so that she can easily carry more items such as gun holders.

Fingerless gloves

Freya travels through the wilderness and fights a lot. Fingerless gloves protect the hand but ensure a perfect grip. This means they don't get in the way, for example when climbing mountain walls.

Gorget

The armor in this composition can be worn with or without a gorget.

Shoulder armor

You can also choose to wear the armor with or without shoulder pads for the pauldrons. The shoulder pads are attached to the gorget and therefore provide good freedom of movement. This means they can be worn well without clothing underneath.

Chest Armor

Freya's armor consists of three parts: the chest armor, the gorget, and the shoulder pieces. This armor can be worn directly over the skin or over a tunic. We have worked out both compositions here.

The chest armor is available in two different cup sizes.

Throwing knives

Hidden on her belt, Freya carries a set of three throwing knives in a leather holder. Freya can draw and use these very quickly.

Quiver

The advantage of this arrow quiver is that it can be worn on the back or around the belt at the waist. On the back is certainly advisable when visiting festivals, so that it never gets in the way. But at LARP events, around the belt has the advantage of making the arrows easier to draw.

Longbow

We gave Freya one of our shortest versions of longbows. We mainly did this because otherwise the ends of the longbow would end up outside the studio part. It is certainly useful, if you often participate in photo shoots, to choose a shorter bow model.

Axe

Freya carries an exe she captured from a Dark Elf. She wears this around the belt as one of her many weapons.

Shield

Freya carries a buckler as a shield. She once bought this from a merchant in the city when she stayed there for a few days to chase someone.
