The Scottish backsword thanks its name to the blade of this sabre, which has one sharp edge contrary to the broadsword. This basket is made after the models that were used during the last Jacobite Rising around 1750-1760.

The basket has a stylized Sen that symbolizes Stewart (Stuart) or Sterling (the city where these baskets were made).

This basket hilted sword has a grip wrapped round with shagreen. It is 99,51 cm long with a blade of 82,5 cm and a grip of 16,5 cm. It weighs 1162 grams. This sword is semi-sharp and is delivered including a leather scabbard.

This item is produced in limited quantities only. This means that every piece is unique. Sizes & finish may vary lightly from piece to piece.
