This sword is a replica of an original found in Sweden. Swords like this were mainly forged between 850 and 900 AD and they were found in Scandinavia, Germany, Ireland and on the British Isles.
The sword is decorated with styled motives, is has a pommel with six lobes and a blade with a length of approx. 68,8 cm. The length of the sword is 86,4 cm, which makes it a quite small model of its kind. It is made of 54SiCr6 steel, with a Scale of Rockwell hardness of HRC 54-56. The pommel and the cross-guard are made of steel. It weighs approx. 1,4 kg.
