Product description

This Viking sword is a replica of a 10th century original excavated in England. Swords like this were used all over Northern Europe around the 10th century. This sword has a five-lobed pommel, this occurred more often than seven-loved pommels. Lobes were often seperated from each other by threaded steel wire.

This sword has two cross-guards and a loose pommel that is riveted to the upper cross-guard. The grip is wrapped round with brown leather. The sword has a length of 95,5 cm and a blade of 79 cm. It weighs approx. 1,2 kg. The sword is made of carbon steel with a hardness of 48-50 HRC. It is suitable for light combat.

It is delivered including a luxurious scabbard. The scabbard is made of wood and covered with leather.
