This item is produced in limited quantities only. This means that every piece is unique. Sizes & finish may vary lightly from piece to piece.
Tip: How to adjust the finish of your armour and weaponry
Luxurious (polished)- polish the steel with metal polish or toothpaste. You can even give the item a mirror-like polish. Test on a small surface first!
Handmade (matte)- soak the steel in cola for 40 minutes to 20 hours. Check regularly and treat with black sandpaper.
Antique (patinated) leave the steel to rust for some time in a damp environment, preferably outside. Remove the red layer of rust, to reveal the corroded top layer.

Reviews for product "Kettle Hat"
For the low price this is a really beautiful helmet.
There is enough space to wear an arming cap and a mail coif underneath. The inlay is somewhat soft but sturdy leather. The chinstrap is comfortable and has a nice buckle.
I like that the brim on the back of the helmet is somewhat longer than the brim in the front, thus protecting your neck very well and giving good vision.
The helmet is not too heavy, but could have been made lighter. Nevertheless, it is a sturdy helmet and can pack a punch.
Some of the welding lines (yes it is welded, what would you expect from a €50 helmet?) are sadly quite clear an visible if you look up close.
Over all; nice sturdy and cheap helmet
