This tunic is based on historical clothing fragments that have been excavated at the banks of the Sonderso. It is dated between the year 1000 and 1300, so it is one of the oldest Viking tunics that have been found. This reconstruction is closely based on the original, with a square that overlaps the front, a rectangular bottom and no gores.
