These tassets are inspired by medieval originals. They are historically developed to protect the hips and loins, these are sensitive body parts that can be otherwise easily wounded in battle. The armor consists of three rows of overlapping steel plates attached to a leather belt. Two rows cover the interior and side of the hips and the middle row covers the groin and also provides protection at the front of the hips. The handy leather belt enables you to attach the tassets very easily under almost all types of chestplates. The tassets protrude under the chest armor and partly cover the leg armor. This armor is 1 mm thick and suitable for LARP battles, costumes and Cosplay.

Maintenance & care
Prevent rust and corrosion by oiling your armour regularly. Remove rust easily with black sandpaper.
Tip: How to adjust the finish of your armour and weaponry
Luxurious (polished)- polish the steel with metal polish or toothpaste. You can even give the item a mirror-like polish. Test on a small surface first!
Handmade (matte)- soak the steel in cola for 40 minutes to 20 hours. Check regularly and treat with black sandpaper.
Antique (patinated) leave the steel to rust for some time in a damp environment, preferably outside. Remove the red layer of rust, to reveal the corroded top layer.
