The lantern has 3 brass chains for hanging it. There is also a handle at the end so you can walk around with the lantern, but you can also put it on the table. The lantern is made of brass and parchment with ventilation holes. The inside of the lantern has an oil container that you can take out for an oil refill. Then you can light the lantern in an authentic way with vegetable oil and a wick. You can also take out the oil container and illuminate the interior with a tea light or larger candle.
