Product description

This cauldron is made of 1.6 mm thick steel plates that are bent and riveted together, as is the case with many original kettles. It has two forged loops with a steel hinge.

The cauldron has a max. diameter of 28 cm, a depth of 24 cm and a capacity of approximately 10 litres. Weight approximately 3.5 kg.

This item is supplied in transport grease. Remove the grease with warm water and dishwashing liquid (degreaser). Remove rust with steel wool or burn it off over the campfire. Our pans are not tinned.
Please note: the cauldron may leak. To make the cauldron extra watertight according to historical method you can burn porridge or linseed oil in the cauldron.

Washing instructions: Wash by hand, not suitable for dishwashers.
This item is made in a limited edition. As a result, sizes may vary slightly and the item has not been checked by a recognized body for suitability for preparing food.
