Clogs were worn from the 13th century on in whole Europe as the successor of the wooden sandal, mainly in Holland, Belgium, Denmark and Sweden. They keep the feet warm in winter and cool in summer and besides they provide a good protection of the foot.
These clogs are made of poplar wood and they have a leather band for solidity. A pair of clogs weighs approx. 1,3 kg.

Maintenance & care
Just as with weaponry, you can care for your shoes and leatherware by applying a little Ballistol after cleaning. This prevents the leather from drying out.
