This burgonet is a replica of one of the most frequently used cavalry helmets from the British Civil War (1642-1649). Helmets like this were worn all over Europe. On the British isles this helmet is also called Lobster pot. Contrary to its predecessors, this helmet has an optimal field of view that is protected by a visor consisting of three bars. Besides, this helmet has a neck protection that consists of several plates. This helmet is made of 1,3 mm thick steel and is suitable for a head circumference up to 62 cm.

Prevent rust and corrosion by oiling your armour regularly. Remove rust easily with black sandpaper.
