The herringbone motif is a historical weaving method used for centuries, from the early Middle Ages to the present day — including in Harris Tweed. This tunic is based on original fragments found in Bernuthsfeld, Thorsberg, Hedeby and Birka.

Perfect for re-enacting and cosplaying early medieval people in Western Europe — Vikings, Merovingians and Franks. The tunic falls to the knee and is made from sturdy cotton. Fabric strips adorn the sleeves and neckline, fitting right in with early medieval fashion.

Side splits keep the tunic comfortable to wear. The neckline also features a split — wear it open or close it with a fibula.
