Product description
The manica is an arm defense worn by gladiators and legionaries. Most soldiers had little money for such equipment, so they relied on materials like linen, leather, chain segments, and scrap steel plates. In a pinch, Roman army smiths could forge one on the spot. Made from brass, this manica features overlapping steel plates that protect the arm from shoulder to hand. An extra brass plate shields the hand, and a leather interior adds comfort. Four adjustable leather straps and a ring secure the manica to your arm and armor. A great replica for Roman re-enactment and gladiator impressions.
