Product description
The bycocket — now commonly known as the "Robin Hood hat" — was popular headgear in the Middle Ages, especially among the higher social classes. It features a high, turned-up brim and a pointed front, often adorned with feathers or other decorative elements. People wore it not only for practical reasons like protection from the sun, but also as a symbol of status and fashion. Made from a wool blend, this bycocket does not include the cotton cap shown in the photo.
