This tunic is based on clothing worn during the early Middle Ages by Vikings and other peoples in northwest Europe. Its universal design also makes it suitable for medieval reenactment. Wear the tunic on its own or layer it over an undertunic in colder weather. This long Viking tunic reaches to the knees. It features a V-neck and a slit at the front and back for added comfort during battles and similar activities. Pair it with a belt for a better fit, or drape part of the fabric over a belt to shorten it. During the early Middle Ages, all kinds of objects were worn on the belt — bags, knives, axes, and more.
