This tunic draws on clothing worn by Vikings and other peoples of northwest Europe during the early Middle Ages. Its universal design also makes it a great choice for medieval reenactment. Wear it on its own or layer it over an undertunic in colder weather. The tunic reaches to the knees, with a V-neck and a front-and-back slit for added comfort during battles and more. Add a belt for a better fit, or drape part of the fabric over a belt to shorten the length. During the early Middle Ages, people carried all kinds of objects on their belt — bags, knives, axes, and more.
