Product description
These arm pieces are based on various historical originals. You'll find them depicted on the tombs of Günther von Schwarzburg (1349) and Sir Thomas Cheyne (1375). Wear them as late 14th-century aristocracy or commoners — both are historically accurate. Leather armor combined with steel plates offered a relatively simple way to build armor components, often worn over mail. From the 15th century onward, this method gradually fell out of use. Made from 1.4 mm thick steel and suede leather, these vambraces attach easily to a gambeson or mail at the top. Pair them with shoulder pieces for a more complete kit. Because they're made from leather, you can adjust them for a better fit.Product details
