This tunic draws on early medieval images in illuminated manuscripts from the eighth and ninth centuries, such as the Stuttgart Psalterium. Perfect for re-enacting and LARPing of the Great Migration, Merovingians, and Franks. Manuscripts show that tunics from this period featured contrasting colors and colored strips of fabric as decoration — and this tunic is a reconstruction of that style.
The open neckline can be worn as-is or closed with a fibula. Side splits keep the tunic comfortable while fighting and running. It falls approximately to the knee.
