Recommended combination
Product description
These cuisses are modeled after the upper leg pieces of the Avant armor. Leg armor like this was worn throughout Europe between approximately 1440 and 1500 AD. The armor provides optimal protection for the upper leg and knee. Roundels on the knee pieces extend protection to the backs of the knees.
A leather edge along each leg piece lets you attach them directly to your belt, so you can also wear them as standalone armor components. The armor is 1.2 mm thick and attaches to the leg with straps.
