Product description
In the early 15th century, full suits of armor began to appear in Northern Italy. Known as Milanese armor, this style spread throughout Europe and was not region-specific. The Milanese style is recognizable by its large, rounded, and unadorned armor plates. Helmets worn with this armor included the sallet, armet, and barbute. Under a Milanese armor, warriors wore a full chainmail hauberk. Milanese armor components were often worn as a complete suit, but individual pieces could be worn separately.
This arm armor draws on several originals, including the shoulder guards of the Milanese Avant armor. The set includes arm guards and pauldrons. Attach them easily to any gorget you choose. Sized to fit almost anyone.
