Product description
The leaf-shaped spear head is a timeless design that has repeatedly returned throughout history. It was already used in the bronze age, both for hunting and war, and has known different styles in various cultures and periods - from the Celts to the ancient Romans and Greeks to the Vikings. Even until the Middle Ages it remained in use. This variant, with its striking raised centerline, would probably have been used by Roman, Greek and Celtic warriors in classical antiquity. Made of hardened 9260 carbon steel, it has a length of approximately 31 cm (12.25 in.) and a knife of approximately 22 cm long. With the help of two pre-drilled holes, the spear head can be attached to a wood shaft of your choice, so you can create your own Viking or early medieval spear. Shaft and additional fastening material are not included.
