Viking clothing for gentlemen

Viking men were also fashion-conscious! Viking tunics were worn in various colors and with different embroideries. Most Viking clothing was earth-colored like brown, ochre, or dark green. These colors could be easily made. Wealthier Vikings also wore colors like blue.  Many Viking men were poor. They carried the items they owned, such as weapons and jewelry. Many axes were used both in war and in the household.
