Celtic WebMerchant values your privacy greatly. Therefore, we only process data that we need to improve our services and handle the information we have collected about you and your use of our services with care. We never make your data available to third parties for commercial purposes. This privacy policy applies to the use of the website and the services accessible on it from Celtic WebMerchant. The effective date for the validity of these terms is 24/05/2018, and the validity of all previous versions expires upon the publication of a new version. This privacy policy describes what data about you we collect, what this data is used for, and with whom and under what conditions this data may be shared with third parties. We also explain how we store your data, how we protect your data from misuse, and what rights you have regarding the personal data you have provided to us. Webshop Software
Shopify
Our webshop is developed with software from Shopify. Personal data that you provide to us for our services is shared with this party. Shopify has access to your data to provide us with (technical) support, and they will never use your data for another purpose. Shopify is obliged under basic of the agreement we have with them to take appropriate security measures. These security measures include the application of SSL encryption and a strong password policy. Shopify uses cookies to collect technical information regarding your use of the software, no personal data is collected and/or stored. Shopify reserves the right to share collected data within its own group to further improve the service.

Web Hosting and Emails
TransIP
We purchase web hosting services from TransIP. TransIP processes personal data on our behalf and does not use your data for its own purposes. However, this party can collect metadata about the use of the services. These are not personal data. TransIP has taken appropriate technical and organizational measures to prevent loss and unauthorized use of your personal data. TransIP is bound by the confidentiality agreement.

Transip, Zendesk
For our email traffic, we use the services of TransIP and Zendesk. These parties have taken appropriate technical and organizational measures to prevent misuse, loss, and corruption of your and our data as much as possible. TransIP and Zendesk do not have access to our mailbox, and we treat all our email traffic confidentially.

Newsletters
Klaviyo
We use Klaviyo, a third party that handles the sending of our newsletters. Klaviyo processes your name and email address. Klaviyo will never use this data for its own purposes. At the bottom of each email that is automatically sent via In Klaviyo, you will see the ‘unsubscribe’ link. If you click on it, you will no longer receive newsletters from us. Your personal data is securely stored by Klaviyo. Klaviyo uses cookies and Google Analytics, which provide insight into whether emails are opened and read. The information obtained by Google Analytics, including your computer's address (IP address), is transmitted to and stored by Google on servers in the United States. Klaviyo has not allowed Google to use the obtained analytics information for other Google services, has required them to partially anonymize your IP addresses, and has entered into a processor agreement with Google.

Payment processors

For handling (part of) the payments in our online store, we use the platforms of Shopify Payments. Shopify Payments processes your name, address, and residence details, as well as your payment details such as your bank account or credit card number. Shopify Payments has taken appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect your personal data. Shopify Payments reserves the right to use your data to further improve the service and, in that context, share (anonymized) data with third parties. All the aforementioned guarantees regarding the protection of your personal data also apply to the parts of Shopify Payments’s services for which they engage third parties. Shopify Payments does not retain your data longer than is allowed by the statutory periods.

Paypal
For handling (part of) the payments in our online store, we use the platforms of Paypal. Paypal processes your name, address, residence details, and the email address you use for Paypal, as well as your payment details such as your bank account or credit card number. Paypal has taken appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect your personal data. Paypal reserves the right to use your data to further improve the service and, in that context, share (anonymized) data with third parties. Reviews
WebwinkelKeur
We collect reviews through the WebwinkelKeur platform. If you leave a review via WebwinkelKeur, you are required to provide a name and email address. WebwinkelKeur shares this information with us, so we can link the review to your order. WebwinkelKeur also publishes your name on its own website. In some cases, WebwinkelKeur may contact you to provide clarification on your review. If we invite you to leave a review, we share your name and email address with WebwinkelKeur. They use this information solely for the purpose of inviting you to leave a review. WebwinkelKeur has taken appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect your personal data. WebwinkelKeur reserves the right to engage third parties for the purpose of providing the service, for which we have given WebwinkelKeur permission. Shipping and logistics
PostNL, DHL, GLS, UPS, DPD
If you place an order with us it is our task to have your package delivered to you. We use the services of PostNL, DHL, GLS, UPS, and DPD to carry out the deliveries. It is therefore necessary for us to share your name, address, and city details with PostNL, DHL, UPS, DPD, or GLS, depending on which party is handling the shipment of your order. PostNL, DHL, UPS, DPD, and GLS use this information solely for the purpose of executing the agreement. In the event that PostNL, DHL, DPD, UPS, or GLS engages subcontractors, PostNL, DHL, DPD, UPS, or GLS will also make your information available to these parties.

Monta
When you place an order with us, we would like you to receive an indication of when you can expect your order at home. Additionally, we want you to be able to select a shipping service and be able to print the labels of this shipping service. For this, we use Monta, a third party that manages the processes behind e-commerce logistics. Monta processes your name, address, city details, phone number, and email address for this purpose. Additionally, Monta processes the contents of your order. Monta has access to your information to provide us with (technical) support and to link your information to the carrier you have chosen, and they will never use your information for any other purpose.

Invoicing and Accounting
Exact
For maintaining our administration and accounting, we use the services of Exact. We share your name, address, and city details and details related to your order. This information is used for administering sales invoices. Your personal data is transmitted and stored securely. Exact is obligated to confidentiality and will treat your information confidentially. Exact will not use your personal data for purposes other than those described above.

Additional Features

Doran Product Reviews
We use the application Doran Product Reviews. When you write a product review, Doran processes your name, email address, and any other information you voluntarily provide (such as photoss or videoss). This information is used to publish your review on our website and to ensure the authenticity of reviews. Doran may also send you emails requesting product reviews after your purchase. Doran will not use this information for its own commercial purposes and acts in accordance with the GDPR.

Swym
We use the application Swym. When you add products to your wishlist, Swym processes your name, email address, and the contents of your wishlist. This information is used to store your wishlist and inform you about price changes or availability of products on your list. Swym may also send you email notifications based on basic your preferences. Swym will use this information solely for providing their services and not for their own commercial purposes.

Toki Loyalty
We use the application Toki Loyalty for our loyalty program. When you participate in our loyalty program, Toki processes your name, email address, purchase history, and earned loyalty points. This information is used to track your points, manage rewards, and send you personalized offers. Toki may also send you emails about your point balance and available rewards. Toki acts as a processor of this information and will not use it for its own purposes, in accordance with the AVG/GDPR.

OO - EU Tax Exemption
We use the application OO - EU Tax Exemption. When you qualify for VAT exemption within the EU (for example, as a business customer), OO processes your VAT number, company name, and billing details. These data are used to verify your VAT status via the European Commission's VIES system and to issue correct invoices. OO processes these data solely for tax purposes and will not use them for other purposes.

Token of Trust Verification
We use the application Token of Trust Verification for age verification and identity checks. When you make a purchase that requires age verification (for example, when purchasing weapons or age-restricted products), Token of Trust processes your name, date of birth, and possibly an identity document. These data are used solely to verify your age and identity in accordance with legal requirements. Token of Trust securely stores these data and will not use them for purposes other than verification, in compliance with the AVG/GDPR.

Purpose of Data Processing
General Purpose of Processing
We use your data solely for the purpose of our services. This means that the purpose of processing is always directly related to the assignment you provide. We do not use your data for (targeted) marketing. If you share data with us and we use this data to contact you at a later time other than at your request, we will explicitly ask for your permission. Your data is not shared with third parties, except to meet accounting and other administrative obligations. These third parties are all bound to confidentiality by the agreement between them and us or an oath or legal obligation.

Automatically Collected Data
Data automatically collected by our website is processed with the aim of further improving our services. These data (for example, your IP address, web browser, and operating system) are not personal data.

Cooperation in Fiscal and Criminal Investigation
In certain cases, Celtic WebMerchant may be legally obliged to share your data in connection with fiscal or criminal investigation by government authorities. In such a case, we are compelled to share your data, but we will oppose this within the possibilities that the law provides us.

Retention Periods
We retain your data as long as you are a client of ours. This means that we keep your client profile until you indicate that you no longer wish to use our services. If you indicate this to us, we will also interpret this as a request to forget. Based on applicable administrative obligations, we are required to retain invoices with your (personal) data, so we will retain these data for as long as the applicable term runs. However, employees no longer have access to your client profile and documents that we have created as a result of your assignment.

Your Rights
Under applicable Dutch and European legislation, you, as a data subject, have certain rights regarding the personal data processed by or on behalf of us. Below, we explain what these rights are and how you can invoke these rights.
In principle, to prevent misuse, we only send copies of your data to the email address already known to us. If you wish to receive the data at another email address or, for example, by post, we will ask you to identify yourself. We maintain a record of processed requests, and in the case of a forget request, we record anonymized data. All copies of data are provided to you in the machine-readable data format that we use within our systems.
You have the right at any time to file a complaint with the Dutch Data Protection Authority if you suspect that we are using your personal data incorrectly.

You always have the right to access the data that we (have) processed and that relate to your person or can be traced back to you. You can make a request to that effect to our contact person for privacy matters. You will receive a response to your request within 30 days. If your request is granted, we will send you a copy of all data to the email address known to us, along with an overview of the processors who have this data, stating the category under which we have stored this data.

You always have the right to have the data that we (have) processed and that relate to your person or can be traced back to you, adjusted. You can make a request to that effect to our contact person for privacy matters. You will receive a response to your request within 30 days. If your request is granted, we will send you a confirmation to the email address known to us that the data has been adjusted.

Right to restriction of processing
You always have the right to restrict the data that we (have) processed that relate to your person or can be traced back to you. You can make a request to that effect to our contact person for privacy matters. You will receive a response to your request within 30 days. If your request is granted, we will send you a confirmation to the email address known to us that the data will no longer be processed until you lift the restriction.

Right to data portability
You always have the right to have the data that we (have) processed and that relate to your person or can be traced back to you, executed by another party. You can make a request to that effect to our contact person for privacy matters. You will receive a response to your request within 30 days. If your request is granted, we will send you copies of all data about you that we have processed or that have been processed by other processors or third parties on our behalf, to the email address known to us. In such a case, it is likely that we can no longer continue the service, as the secure linking of data files can then no longer be guaranteed.

Right to object and other rights
You have the right, in certain cases, to object to the processing of your personal data by or on behalf of Celtic WebMerchant. If you object, we will immediately cease data processing pending the handling of your objection. If your objection is justified, we will provide you with copies of the data we (have) processed and then permanently cease processing.

Google Analytics
Cookies from the American company Google are placed via our website, as part of the "Analytics" service. We use this service to track and receive reports on how visitors use the website. This processor may be required by applicable laws and regulations to provide access to this data. We collect information about your browsing behavior and share this information with Google. Google can interpret this information in combination with other datasets and thus track your movements on the internet. Google uses this information to offer targeted advertisements (Adwords) and other Google services and products. This information is transferred to and stored by Google on servers in the United States.
