Buy Medieval Helmet

Looking for a medieval helmet for reenactment, LARP, a costume, or for a museum or home decoration? On this page, you will find all the medieval helmets in our assortment. You can choose to see the overview of all medieval helmets or select the specific type you are looking for. We have, among others, kettle hats, cabassets, bascinets, sallets, barbutes, and armets. All helmets are based on genuine authentic medieval helmets from history.

Renaissance Helmets & Early Modern Period

In our assortment, you will also find Renaissance helmets and helmets from the early modern period. In terms of Renaissance, we have barbutes and armets. These are 15th century helmets worn in the late Middle Ages and Renaissance. You will also find morions and burgonets here, helmets from the early modern period. Morions are, for example, the helmets from the Eighty Years' War.

Selecting a Reenactment Helmet

When you are going to fight in a LARP battle or wear a helmet only for decoration with your medieval or Renaissance costume, it is advisable to choose a thinner steel thickness such as 1 t/m 1.3 mm. These helmets are lighter and comfortable to wear for longer periods. In reenactment battles, you need a thicker steel thickness (usually 1.5 mm and higher), for this, also ask for information from your reenactment group. In the description of all our helmets, you can read what the steel thickness is. This way, you can use the helmet safely.
