Product description
This imposing spear head is made from hardened 9260 carbon steel and is suitable for the Viking Age and the Middle Ages (10th/11th century - Type K/M according to Petersen). It has a length of approximately 52 cm (20.5 inches) and cutting edges of approximately 29 cm (11.4 inches). The blad is strongly tapered, from a broad basic to a long, narrow point, and is reinforced with a prominent, raised ridge along the center for extra rigidity and penetrating power. With the help of two pre-drilled holes, the spear head can be attached to a wood shaft of your choice, allowing you to create your own Viking or early medieval spear. Shaft and additional fastening material are not included.
