Product description
This helm is a replica of a 6th century specimen found in Belgrade (Serbia). These helmets were worn by Germanic tribes throughout Europe. Helmets like these have been found from Spain and North Africa to Germany and the Balkans.
The helm is made of 2 mm thick steel and fitted with cheek plates that can still be seen on helmets until the 9th century. The nasal is made of 3 mm thick steel for extra safety. The helm is equipped with a mail neck protection and a leather inlay.
It is available in size M (Head circumference up to 61 cm), L (Head circumference up to 64 cm).
