Mittens, also called mittens, were a commonly used form of hand protection in the 15th century. Instead of separate fingers, they have a series of overlapping plates that slide together over the fingers, with a cap over the knuckles and a cuff that covers the wrist.
These mittens are made of riveted steel plates in a black finish. You wear them over your hand or over leather gloves and secure them with straps of vegetable-tanned leather, so putting them on and taking them off is quick. The plates move with your hand, although you have less finger freedom than in a fingered glove.
Due to the thin plate thickness, these mittens are intended for LARP, cosplay and costume, not for full-contact combat. They are supplied per purple, in one size (M / L).
