The Oakeshott type XIII sword were often worn by templar knights and templars and are an excellent example of the transition between the classic arming sword and later sword that were more aimed at thrusting.
This sword has a wood scabbard wrapped with brown leather with a brown leather grip. The edge is 1.5 mm thick. The blade is tempered and made of EN42J spring steel. It has a core with a steel hardness of 45 HRC and the edge has a hardness of 50 HRC. Due to the two different hardnesses, the sword is flexible and less brittle than comparable models. This sword is a combination of excellent craftsmanship and years of HEMA experience.
