These smaller pauldrons are specially designed for young adults. They are large enough to wear over a hauberk or gambeson. The pauldrons consist of several steel parts, which are attached to each other with leather pieces. These shoulder pauldrons are fastened to the upper arm with leather straps and can be attached at the top to the bevor or gorget. Tip: attach leather laces to your chain mail or gambeson, for fastening armour parts very easily.
