Product description

This amulet shows an image of Wodan/Odin — in archeology such objects are referred to as "Wodanistic Objects in Numerous Environments". Odin was considered the god of the aristocracy and the warrior class, and jewelry bearing his image was worn to protect the wearer. The runes on the top are an Old Norse custom for the amulet to give extra strength. This example is based on a find from Ribe, Denmark, and comes with an adjustable cotton cord.

Performed in tin, with dimensions of approx. 3.6 x 1.9 cm.
