Product description
This medieval sword is a replica of an original from the 13th century. The original sword is classified as an Oakeshott Type XII and is displayed in the St. Annen-Museum, Lübeck. The sword is relatively long for a Type XII single-handed sword and this type of sword was used by crusaders in the high medieval period. The blade of this replica sword is made of 9260 spring steel and has a riveted pommel. The grip features a steel cross-guard, grip with wood core and red leather wrapping. The sword is supplied including a red leather scabbard.
