Product description

In the early 14th century, kettle hats like this one with sloped brims appeared. Improved metalworking made it possible and more affordable to mass-produce one-piece kettle hats. The sloped brim deflected projectiles from above, reducing the impact on both the helmet and the head. This type of helmet was so effective that even aristocrats wore it. The brim also protected against downward strikes and projectiles, while providing excellent visibility, good hearing, and optimal protection.

This replica kettle hat offers strong protection for the head, face, and neck. With 2 mm thick steel, it is suitable for reenactment battles, Buhurt, and HEMA.
