This certosafibula is based on a find from grave 44 at the Moserstein site of the Dürrnberg near Hallein. The certosa type is named after the site of the same name in Italy and spread from there to the Celtic world through trade contacts. The arc shape of the fibula possibly carries sun symbolism.
Performed in bronze, with a length of approx. 11 cm.
