This buckle is based on an original find from Anglo-Saxon England. It is decorated with a filigree knot motif and measures 4.0 x 3.5 cm. It is suitable for belt strip with a width of 2.0 cm and is bronze-colored.
Anglo-Saxon art was influenced by Viking art. The Vikings settled in the north of Anglo-Saxon England from the late ninth to early tenth century. They married Anglo-Saxons and created their own mixed culture. A mix of the two arts is called Anglo-Scandinavian.
