Product description
This casaque is modeled on the wide traveling cloak that came into fashion at the court of Louis XIII in the early 17th century, designed to protect travelers from wind and weather. The cut with a loose front, back and shoulder section made it possible to wear it as a cape or as a jacket.
The jacket is made of heavy brown cotton canvas. The collar can be worn turned up or upright, and both the lapels and the wide cuffs are finished with a row of buttons. The jacket is wider towards the bottom, which gives a graceful silhouette.
The casaque is suitable for LARP, cosplay, theater and festivals, and suits both fantasy- as in western or steampunk costumes. For a weathered effect and extra protection against rain, you can treat the fabric with wax.
