Product description
This handmade wooden flute of 33 cm has seven finger holes and a decorative ring at the bottom. The design reflects Scandinavian craftsmanship and the tradition of wind instruments, which in the Viking Age were generally made from bone material — the Vikings carved flutes from the thin bones of cows, deer or large birds, usually with three holes, although examples with up to seven holes have also been excavated.
This copy is made of dark wood and with its seven holes it offers a wider tonal range than the simplest historical variants.
Suitable for reenactors who want to make music during an event or camp, and a nice gift for lovers of historical musical instruments.
