This impressive neck ring is inspired by an animal head style post from the fourth sledge from the famous Oseberg find (Norway, 9th century). The lion's head image from this post was adopted for the ends of the neck ring.
The heads are solid and very detailed; the ring itself is deliberately kept hollow to limit its weight and increase wearing comfort. The neck ring measures approx. 46 cm and fits both narrower and wider neck circumferences.
A true showpiece for lovers of Viking Age jewelery art.
