Product description
The gorget — also called neck plate or armor collar — protects the vulnerable neck and throat and is an essential part of late medieval armor. This model is inspired by the powerful, functional armor worn by knights and soldiers throughout Europe in the 14th and 15th centuries.
Made from 1.2mm steel the gorget consists of several overlapping steel plates that protect the neck at the front and back while maintaining sufficient freedom of movement. The armor is attached with leather straps and buckles. The surface finish has an authentic, late medieval appearance.
Suitable for historical reenactment, as an addition to armor or as a decorative collection piece. It steel is not stainless; regular maintenance is recommended.
