Product description
The voulge, also called couteau de brèche, is a pole weapon from the Middle Ages, mainly used in 15th-century France by foot soldiers (vougiers), including the Franc-Archers. The weapon consists of a narrow, single-sided blade (sometimes with a second edge on the back) mounted with a shaft tube on a shaft of about 1.5 to 2 meters, sometimes equipped with langets or a roundel to protect the hands.
This voulge top is made of tempered steel, semi-sharp ground. This is the blade only - a shaft is not included.
