Product description
The bardiche was a pole weapon used from the 14th to the 17th century, mainly in Eastern Europe and Russia. Unlike smaller axes, the bardiche had a long, curved blade mounted on a long shaft, which gave extra reach. The design is related to the earlier Viking ax and Danish battle axe, where the wide cutting edge could be used for both hewing and hooking.
This bardiche head is made of steel with an antique finish. This is the head only - a shaft is not included.
